OMG 🚨 Larry Takes Brooke To The Airport For Chicago, But Suddenly Who Does Brooke Spot 😱
Brooke sat quietly in the passenger seat as Larry drove toward Atlanta’s airport. The early morning traffic was light, but the tension inside the car felt heavy. Chicago was waiting for Brooke. A new apartment, a new school program, and a fresh start far away from all the drama at home.
Larry glanced over at her.
“You got everything?” he asked.
Brooke nodded. “Yeah. I think so.”
Larry smiled. “You’re gonna do great in Chicago.”
Even though Brooke was excited, something felt strange. Larry had been acting different for weeks. He kept encouraging her to leave as soon as possible. He even offered to pay her first three months of housing expenses.
At first, Brooke thought he was just being supportive.
Now she wasn't so sure.
As they pulled into the airport drop-off area, Brooke noticed Larry checking his phone repeatedly.
“Who keeps texting you?” she asked.
“No one important,” Larry replied quickly.
Brooke raised an eyebrow but let it go.
The two grabbed her luggage and walked inside the busy terminal. Travelers rushed past them. Families hugged goodbye. Flight announcements echoed through the building.
Larry helped Brooke roll her suitcase toward the check-in area.
“This is it,” he said.
Brooke smiled sadly.
“Thanks for everything.”
Just as she was about to hug him goodbye, her eyes suddenly locked onto someone across the terminal.
Her smile disappeared instantly.
“No way...” she whispered.
Larry froze.
Brooke dropped the handle of her suitcase.
Standing near a coffee shop was Bethany.
But she wasn't alone.
Beside Bethany stood Charlotte.
And they were both staring directly at Larry.
Brooke's heart started racing.
“What are THEY doing here?” she asked.
Larry looked shocked.
“Brooke... I can explain.”
“You knew they were coming?”
Larry didn't answer.
That was all Brooke needed to know.
Bethany immediately started walking toward them.
Charlotte followed closely behind.
Brooke crossed her arms.
“This should be good.”
Bethany stopped right in front of Larry.
“So this is how you were gonna do it?”
Larry sighed.
“Bethany, not here.”
“No, let's do it right here,” Bethany snapped. “You’ve been rushing Brooke out of town for weeks.”
Travelers nearby started slowing down to watch.
Brooke looked from Bethany to Larry.
“What is she talking about?”
Charlotte stepped forward.
“You really don't know?”
Brooke's stomach dropped.
“Know what?”
Charlotte pulled an envelope from her purse.
Larry's face immediately turned pale.
Brooke recognized the envelope.
Legal documents.
Divorce papers.
The entire airport suddenly felt silent.
Brooke looked at Larry.
“Wait... these are for Bethany?”
Nobody answered.
Charlotte held up the envelope.
“The divorce papers were supposed to be delivered today.”
Brooke's eyes widened.
“Today?!”
Bethany shook her head.
“He wanted me distracted while Brooke moved away.”
Larry rubbed his forehead.
“That’s not what happened.”
“Then explain it,” Brooke demanded.
Larry looked trapped.
For weeks he had been trying to avoid this exact moment.
Finally, he took a deep breath.
“Yes. The papers are real.”
Bethany looked devastated.
Even though everyone knew their marriage was struggling, hearing Larry finally admit it hurt differently.
Brooke stared at him.
“You were really ending it?”
Larry nodded.
“I didn't know what else to do.”
Bethany wiped tears from her eyes.
“I asked for counseling.”
“I know.”
“I asked for another chance.”
“I know.”
“Then why?”
Larry's voice cracked.
“Because every time we started over, we ended up right back here.”
For a moment nobody spoke.
Even Charlotte seemed emotional.
Brooke looked at Bethany.
Then at Larry.
Then at the divorce papers.
Suddenly she understood why Larry had been pushing her to move to Chicago so quickly.
He wanted the family drama handled after she was gone.
He thought he was protecting her.
Instead, everything exploded before her flight.
An announcement came over the loudspeaker.
"Final boarding call for Flight 728 to Chicago."
Brooke looked toward her gate.
Then back at her family.
The timing couldn't have been worse.
Bethany took a deep breath.
“Brooke, don't miss your flight because of us.”
Brooke shook her head.
“How am I supposed to leave when this is happening?”
Charlotte placed a hand on Brooke's shoulder.
“You can't fix this.”
Another boarding announcement echoed through the terminal.
Brooke's eyes filled with tears.
Everything was changing at once.
Chicago.
The divorce.
The family she knew falling apart.
Larry stepped forward.
“Brooke... look at me.”
She did.
“No matter what happens between me and Bethany, you are family.”
Brooke started crying.
Bethany started crying.
Even Charlotte looked away.
For a brief moment, all the fighting disappeared.
They were just a family facing one of the hardest days of their lives.
The final boarding call sounded again.
Brooke hugged Bethany first.
Then Charlotte.
Finally, she hugged Larry.
As she walked toward security, she turned around one last time.
Larry and Bethany stood facing each other.
The divorce papers still rested inside Charlotte's hand.
Nobody knew what would happen next.
Would Larry finally sign the papers?
Would Bethany convince him to try counseling one last time?
Or was this truly the end of their marriage?
As Brooke disappeared toward her Chicago flight, one thing was certain...
The real drama was only beginning. 😱🔥
