The tension in the house had been building all day.
Isaiah had just arrived, and Brooke was sitting nearby, trying to keep the peace. She already knew there was bad blood between Isaiah and Bethany, but she never expected things to explode the way they did.
Bethany looked at Isaiah from across the room and shook her head.
“You know what, Isaiah?” she said coldly. “You’re nothing but a loser.”
The entire room suddenly went quiet.
Isaiah stared at her, clearly hurt by the words.
Brooke immediately stood up.
“Excuse me?” Brooke asked.
Bethany crossed her arms. “You heard me. I said he’s a loser.”
Brooke’s expression changed instantly.
“Who are YOU to call him a loser?”
Bethany stepped closer.
“I’m telling the truth!”
“That’s enough!” Brooke shouted.
The argument quickly became more heated. Brooke was furious that Bethany was insulting Isaiah, while Bethany refused to back down.
“You need to stay out of this,” Bethany warned.
But Brooke had already lost her temper.
In the heat of the argument, Brooke grabbed Bethany around the neck, shocking everyone in the room.
“Brooke! LET GO!” someone yelled.
Isaiah immediately rushed over and pulled Brooke away from Bethany.
“Brooke, stop! This isn’t the way!” Isaiah shouted.
Brooke stepped back, breathing heavily.
“She can say whatever she wants about me,” Brooke said angrily, “but she is NOT going to disrespect Isaiah like that!”
Bethany was stunned.
She touched her neck and looked at Brooke in disbelief.
“Did you seriously just put your hands on me?”
Brooke didn't answer.
Isaiah stood between them, trying to prevent the situation from getting even worse.
“Everybody needs to calm down,” Isaiah said.
Bethany pointed at Brooke.
“This is exactly why people can't trust you!”
Brooke fired back, “And this is exactly why nobody wants to hear you talk about Isaiah!”
The room went silent again.
Then Bethany said something that nobody expected.
“You think Isaiah cares about you? You have no idea what he's been saying behind your back.”
Brooke froze.
“What did you just say?”
Isaiah's face suddenly changed.
“Bethany, don't.”
Brooke slowly turned toward Isaiah.
“Why did you say, ‘Don't’?”
Isaiah couldn't answer.
Bethany smiled slightly.
“Maybe you should ask him what really happened.”
Brooke looked confused and hurt.
“Isaiah… what is she talking about?”
Isaiah finally admitted that there was something he had been keeping from Brooke.
Brooke's anger instantly turned into shock.
“Wait… you knew about this the whole time?”
Isaiah lowered his head.
“I was going to tell you.”
“When?” Brooke asked. “After I found out from somebody else?”
Bethany watched the situation unfold, realizing that her argument with Brooke had uncovered a much bigger secret.
Brooke walked toward Isaiah, demanding answers.
But before Isaiah could explain, a phone suddenly rang.
Everyone looked at the screen.
The caller's name made Brooke's eyes widen.
It was someone from Isaiah's past.
Brooke slowly picked up the phone.
“Hello?”
There was silence on the other end.
Then the caller said something that completely changed everything.
Brooke's face dropped.
“What…?”
Isaiah immediately realized who was calling.
“Brooke, please don't listen to them.”
But it was already too late.
Brooke looked at Isaiah, then at Bethany.
“Why does everyone seem to know something about me except me?”
And just like that, the argument over calling Isaiah a “loser” turned into a shocking family confrontation that nobody saw coming.
But what was the secret behind that phone call? And would Brooke ever forgive Isaiah after learning the truth?
