It was supposed to be a normal day at the house.
Bethany was busy preparing for the evening when she heard someone knocking at the front door.
Brooke rushed toward the entrance with a smile on her face.
Bethany looked confused.
“Are you expecting someone?”
Brooke hesitated for a moment.

Standing outside was Lynette.
Bethany immediately froze.

“Why is she here?”

“I invited her.”

“No?”

“You are not coming inside.”
Brooke immediately stepped forward.
“Bethany!”

“She came because I invited her.”

“And you had no right to invite her without asking me first.”
Lynette stood awkwardly outside.
She hadn't expected to be stopped at the door.

Brooke stood beside Lynette.
“She's not a stranger.”
Bethany replied:
“That doesn't matter.”
Brooke became frustrated.
“Then what is your problem?”
Bethany looked directly at her.
“My problem is that this is my home, and you don't invite people here without asking me.”
Brooke crossed her arms.
“It's not that serious.”
Bethany became angry.
“It is serious when you disrespect my boundaries.”
Lynette quietly said:
“Maybe I should leave.”
Brooke immediately stopped her.
“No, you don't have to.”
Bethany heard that.
“So now you're going to tell me who stays in my house?”
The argument was becoming louder.

Bethany and Lynette had unresolved problems from the past.
Brooke knew some of the story but didn't understand why the situation was still so serious.
“Why can't you just move on?” Brooke asked.
Bethany looked shocked.
“Because you don't know everything.”
Lynette immediately replied:
“Then tell her.”
Bethany stared at her.
“Are you sure you want me to?”

Brooke looked confused.
“What are you talking about?”
Lynette looked nervous.

But before anyone could explain, Larry suddenly appeared.

Larry heard the argument and came toward the door.
“What is going on?”
Brooke immediately pointed toward Bethany.
“She won't let Lynette inside!”
Bethany responded:
“Because Brooke invited her without asking me!”
Larry looked at Brooke.
“Did you?”
Brooke looked down.
“Yes.”
Larry sighed.
“Brooke, you should have asked.”
Brooke became upset.
“So you're taking her side?”
Larry shook his head.
“No. I'm trying to be fair.”
Lynette remained outside, watching the family argue.
Larry suggested they all talk calmly.
But Bethany had already reached her limit.
Chapter 6 — The Argument Escalates
Bethany looked directly at Lynette.
“You need to leave.”
Brooke immediately became angry.
“Why should she leave?”
Bethany replied:
“Because I said so.”
Brooke stepped closer.
“You're embarrassing her!”
Bethany became furious.
“You embarrassed yourself by inviting someone without asking me!”
Brooke couldn't believe what she was hearing.
Lynette finally tried to speak.
“Brooke, it's okay.”
But Brooke refused to give up.
“No, it's not okay!”
Larry stepped between Bethany and Brooke.
“Everyone needs to take a step back.”
But then Bethany said something that shocked everyone.
Chapter 7 — Bethany Reveals a Secret
Bethany looked at Brooke.
“You want to know why I don't trust Lynette?”
Brooke nodded.
“Yes!”
Bethany took a deep breath.
“She betrayed me.”
Lynette immediately shook her head.
“That's not true.”
Bethany replied:
“Don't lie to me!”
Brooke looked back and forth.
“What happened?”
Bethany began explaining that she believed Lynette had shared private information about her in the past.
Lynette insisted she had never betrayed Bethany.
“There is more to the story.”
Bethany laughed angrily.
“Of course there is.”
The confrontation was now becoming about much more than an invitation.

For the first time, Lynette became angry.
“I have been blamed for something I didn't do!”
Bethany stepped closer.
“Then explain it.”
Lynette replied:
“I've tried!”
Brooke stood between them.
“Stop!”
Larry became concerned that the argument could become physical.
He immediately told everyone to keep their distance.
“Take a breath. Nobody is going to put their hands on anyone.”
The tension remained intense.
Then Lynette made a shocking decision.
“Fine. I'll tell Brooke everything.”
Bethany's expression suddenly changed.
Chapter 9 — Brooke Learns the Truth
Lynette began explaining her side of the old conflict.
She revealed that someone else may have been responsible for spreading the private information.
Brooke was shocked.
“So you were blamed for something you didn't do?”
Lynette nodded.
Bethany refused to believe it.
“Why should I trust you now?”
Lynette replied:
“You don't have to trust me. Just look at the evidence.”
She pulled out her phone.
Larry examined the information carefully.
His expression changed.
Bethany immediately became worried.
“What is it?”
Larry looked at her.
“We need to talk.”
Brooke realized that something much bigger was happening.
Chapter 10 — Everything Changes
Larry discovered information suggesting that Bethany may have been misled about what happened in the past.
Bethany felt betrayed.
Brooke looked at Lynette.
“So you were telling the truth?”
Lynette nodded.
“I tried to tell everyone.”
Bethany slowly looked at her.
For the first time, she didn't know what to say.
Then another notification appeared on Lynette's phone.
The message read:
“You finally made it inside the house. Now the REAL secret can come out.”
Everyone froze.
Brooke looked toward the door.
Bethany became nervous.
Larry immediately asked:
“Who sent that?”
Nobody knew.
The argument over Brooke's invitation had exposed an old secret.
But the new message suggested that someone had been waiting for Lynette to return.
