Dutchess Buys Destiny a Flight Ticket and Destiny Has Only 20 Minutes Left Before Her Flight Takes Off Suddenly Skinny Bethany Surprise Return Shocks Everyone
The morning started with tears and goodbyes.
Destiny stood quietly in her bedroom, staring at the packed suitcase lying on the floor. She never imagined the day would come when she would leave everything behind.
Downstairs, Dutchess waited with a small white envelope in her hand.
"Destiny," she said softly, "I know this hasn't been an easy decision, but sometimes a fresh start is exactly what we need."
Destiny opened the envelope and gasped.
Inside was a one-way airline ticket.
"My flight... leaves today?" Destiny asked.
Dutchess nodded.
"You only have 20 minutes before boarding begins. If you're going, we have to leave now."
The room fell silent.
Brooke couldn't hold back her tears as she hugged Destiny tightly.
"I don't want you to go," Brooke whispered.
Destiny smiled through her tears.
"I don't want to leave either... but maybe this is what's best."
Meanwhile, Larry stood quietly near the front door. Although he had tried to stay strong, his eyes revealed how difficult it was to watch Destiny leave.
Within minutes, everyone climbed into the car and rushed toward the airport.
The drive felt endless.
No one spoke.
The only sound was the ticking clock on the dashboard.
18 minutes left.
Traffic suddenly slowed to a crawl.
Larry slammed his hand on the steering wheel.
"We're never going to make it!"
Dutchess immediately pulled out her phone, searching for another route.
Finally, they arrived at the airport.
Only 7 minutes remained.
Destiny grabbed her suitcase and hugged everyone one last time.
Brooke burst into tears.
"Please don't forget us."
"I never could," Destiny replied.
She turned and began running toward the security checkpoint.
Just as she reached the entrance...
A loud voice echoed through the terminal.
"DESTINY!"
Everyone turned around.
A woman wearing sunglasses slowly walked through the airport entrance.
For a moment, no one recognized her.
She looked slimmer, healthier, and completely different.
When she removed her sunglasses, Brooke covered her mouth in shock.
"Larry..."
"Is that really... Bethany?"
The entire airport froze.
After months away, Bethany had unexpectedly returned with a dramatic new look.
Larry couldn't believe his eyes.
"Bethany?"
Destiny stopped walking.
Her boarding pass slipped from her hand as she stared in complete disbelief.
Brooke rushed forward.
"Bethany... where have you been?"
Bethany smiled softly.
"I've spent months rebuilding my life. I wasn't ready to come back... until today."
Everyone surrounded her, asking questions at once.
But before Bethany could explain, an airport employee hurried over.
"Final boarding call for Flight 728. Passenger Destiny, this is your last opportunity to board."
Everyone looked at Destiny.
She looked at the departure gate...
Then at Bethany...
The decision was impossible.
Should she board the plane and begin a new life...
Or stay behind to learn why Bethany had returned so suddenly?
As Destiny struggled to decide, Bethany reached into her purse and pulled out a sealed envelope.
"I didn't come back empty-handed," she said.
"I came back with proof... proof that will change everything you thought you knew."
Larry's face turned pale.
"What proof?" he asked.
Bethany looked directly at him.
"The truth about what happened while I was gone."
The terminal fell completely silent.
Destiny stood frozen between the boarding gate and her family, knowing that whatever was inside that envelope could change all of their lives forever.
