It started as a peaceful morning. Larry was enjoying breakfast when his phone suddenly began ringing over and over again. At first, he ignored it, assuming it was just another routine call. But when he noticed several missed calls from the same number, a strange feeling came over him.
As soon as he answered, the person on the other end spoke with urgency.
"Larry... you need to get here right now. It's an emergency."
Larry's face instantly turned pale.
"What happened?" he asked with a trembling voice.
"There isn't time to explain. Just come now."
Without saying another word, Larry grabbed his keys and rushed out of the house. Brooke and Destiny saw the panic on his face and immediately followed him, worried that something terrible had happened.
The drive felt endless. Larry's hands shook as he gripped the steering wheel. Every possible nightmare raced through his mind. He kept praying that whatever had happened wasn't as bad as he feared.
When they finally arrived, flashing emergency lights filled the area. Police cars, ambulances, and firefighters surrounded the scene. A crowd had gathered, whispering and pointing toward the center of the commotion.
Larry pushed through the crowd, desperate for answers.
"What happened? Please tell me!"
An officer stopped him and calmly explained that there had been a serious incident earlier that morning involving someone close to the family. Investigators were still trying to understand exactly what had happened.
Brooke covered her mouth in shock.
Destiny stood frozen, unable to believe what she was seeing.
Larry's knees nearly gave out as the weight of the moment hit him. He struggled to stay strong while waiting for more information.
Minutes later, a member of the emergency team approached with an update.
"We've stabilized the situation," they said. "The immediate danger has passed, but there are still many unanswered questions."
Larry let out a long breath of relief, but the uncertainty remained. He realized how quickly life could change and how important it was to stand together as a family during difficult moments.

But just as everyone thought the worst was over, Larry's phone rang once again.
He looked at the screen.

Larry answered cautiously.
The mysterious voice whispered,

Larry slowly lowered the phone, his face filled with disbelief.
Brooke and Destiny stared at him.
"What did they say?" Brooke asked.
Larry remained silent.
His expression alone was enough to send chills through everyone standing there.
