The tension between Brooke and Isaiah had been building for weeks.

But Isaiah continued arguing.

Brooke's eyes filled with tears.
“I never claimed to be perfect,” she replied. “But I trusted you. And you just proved that I was wrong to trust you.”
That sentence completely changed the mood.
Isaiah suddenly became quiet.
Brooke wiped her tears and stood up.

The twins stood beside Brooke.
