Chapter 1 — Brooke Confronts Isaiah
Brooke finally decided she couldn't keep everything inside anymore.
She went to meet Isaiah, determined to get answers about the recent arguments and misunderstandings between them.
When she arrived, Isaiah could immediately tell that she was upset.
“Brooke, what's going on?”
She looked at him seriously.
“I need you to tell me the truth.”
Isaiah tried to calm her down, but Brooke continued questioning him.
She wanted to know why he had pushed her away and why he had been hiding things.
The conversation became emotional.
Neither of them realized that Brooke's condition was beginning to change.
Chapter 2 — Brooke Suddenly Feels Unwell
As Brooke continued talking, she suddenly stopped.
Isaiah noticed her expression change.
“Brooke?”
She put a hand against her head.
“I don't feel right.”
Isaiah immediately became concerned.
“Sit down.”
Brooke tried to reassure him.
“I'm okay.”
But a few seconds later, she became dizzy.
Isaiah quickly helped her sit down.
“What's happening?”
Brooke couldn't answer properly.
Her breathing became unsteady, and Isaiah realized this was more serious than he had initially thought.
He immediately decided they needed medical help.
Chapter 3 — Isaiah Rushes Her to the Hospital
Isaiah helped Brooke into the car.
“Stay with me.”
Brooke was frightened.
“I don't want anything to happen.”
“Nothing is going to happen. We're getting you help.”
Isaiah drove straight to the hospital.
He kept checking on her during the journey.
Brooke closed her eyes and tried to remain calm.
Isaiah was terrified.
He couldn't stop thinking about their argument.
“I shouldn't have let things get this far.”
When they reached the hospital, Isaiah immediately called for assistance.
Doctors and nurses quickly brought Brooke inside for evaluation.
Isaiah was left standing in the hallway, worried and helpless.
Chapter 4 — The Doctors Examine Brooke
The medical team began checking Brooke.
Isaiah waited outside.
A few minutes later, a nurse came out and asked him several questions.
“When did she start feeling unwell?”
“Just before we arrived.”
“Was she under a lot of stress?”
Isaiah nodded.
“Yes.”
The nurse told him that the doctors were running tests to determine what had caused her symptoms.
Isaiah immediately called Larry.
“Larry, Brooke is at the hospital.”
Larry became alarmed.
“What happened?”
“She suddenly became ill while we were talking.”
“I’m coming.”
Isaiah ended the call.
Now he had to wait.
Chapter 5 — Larry Arrives
Larry rushed into the hospital.
He found Isaiah sitting outside the examination room.
“What happened?”
Isaiah stood up.
“She suddenly felt sick.”
Larry looked worried.
“Is she okay?”
“They're still checking her.”
Larry became emotional.
“I should have been there.”
Isaiah replied:
“I was with her. I got her here as quickly as I could.”
Larry nodded.
“Thank you.”
For a moment, the two men sat quietly.
Despite everything that had happened between them, they were both worried about Brooke.
Then the doctor walked toward them.
“We need to talk.”
Both Larry and Isaiah immediately stood up.
Chapter 6 — The Doctor Gives an Update
The doctor explained that Brooke was stable.
Larry breathed a sigh of relief.
“But we're still running tests to determine what caused her symptoms.”
Isaiah asked:
“Is she in danger?”
The doctor said there was no indication of an immediate life-threatening emergency based on the initial evaluation, but they wanted to monitor her carefully.
Larry asked if stress could have contributed.
The doctor explained that intense stress can sometimes cause physical symptoms, but they wouldn't assume that was the cause until the medical evaluation was complete.
Isaiah looked down.
He felt guilty.
“I was arguing with her when this happened.”
Larry looked at him.
“This isn't the time to blame yourself.”
Chapter 7 — Brooke Wakes Up
After some time, Brooke finally opened her eyes.
She looked around.
“Where am I?”
A nurse reassured her.
“You're in the hospital.”
Brooke slowly remembered what had happened.
“Isaiah…”
Isaiah was standing nearby.
“I'm here.”
Brooke looked at him.
“You brought me here?”
Isaiah nodded.
“You suddenly became sick. I wasn't taking any chances.”
Brooke became emotional.
“I'm sorry.”
Isaiah shook his head.
“Don't apologize.”
Larry entered the room.
He immediately hugged Brooke.
“You scared me.”
Brooke apologized again.
“I didn't mean to.”
Larry replied:
“Just focus on getting better.”
Chapter 8 — Brooke and Isaiah Finally Talk
After Larry stepped outside, Brooke and Isaiah had a quiet conversation.
Brooke asked:
“Were you really trying to protect me?”
Isaiah nodded.
“Yes.”
She told him that his behavior had hurt her.
“I thought you didn't care anymore.”
Isaiah apologized.
“I handled everything the wrong way.”
Brooke admitted that she had also reacted emotionally.
They both realized that their constant arguments had created enormous stress.
Isaiah promised:
“No more secrets.”
Brooke nodded.
“I want the truth, even if it's difficult.”
Isaiah agreed.
But before they could continue, the doctor returned.
Chapter 9 — The Test Results
The doctor explained that the initial tests were reassuring.
Brooke needed rest and further observation, but there was no immediate indication of the worst-case scenario they had feared.
Everyone felt relieved.
The doctor also advised Brooke to take her symptoms seriously and follow up if they returned or worsened.
Larry thanked the medical team.
Isaiah looked relieved.
Brooke smiled weakly.
“I guess I scared everyone.”
Larry replied:
“More than you know.”
Everyone laughed softly.
But then Brooke remembered something.
She looked at Isaiah.
“Before I got sick, someone sent me a message.”
Isaiah immediately became serious.
“What message?”
Brooke told him what it said.
Isaiah's expression changed.
Chapter 10 — A Shocking Message Arrives
Brooke showed Isaiah the message.
It said:
“You should have stayed away from Isaiah.”
Larry read it and became concerned.
“Who sent this?”
Brooke shook her head.
“I don't know.”
Isaiah realized that the strange messages and recent conflicts might all be connected.
But he refused to let Brooke worry while she was recovering.
“We'll deal with this later.”
Brooke nodded.
For now, she just wanted peace.
Larry held her hand.
Isaiah stood beside them.
The hospital room finally became quiet.
But then Isaiah's phone buzzed.
Another message appeared:
“You think taking her to the hospital changed anything? You still haven't discovered the truth.”
Isaiah stared at the screen.
He didn't tell Brooke what it said.
But his expression made Larry suspicious.
Something bigger was happening.
And this time, Isaiah was determined to find out who was behind it.
