Chapter 1 — Dave’s Big Birthday Celebration
Dave was excited because his birthday party was finally here. Friends and family had gathered at his house, the music was playing, food was everywhere, and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
Dave wanted the celebration to be unforgettable.
But there was one person he desperately wanted to see.
Wayne.
Earlier that day, Dave had personally called Wayne and invited him to the party.
“Man, you have to come,” Dave told him. “It won't be the same without you.”
Wayne laughed and promised he would show up.
Dave had no idea that Wayne's arrival would completely change the mood of the entire party.
Chapter 2 — Wayne Finally Arrives
Hours later, everyone was enjoying themselves when a car suddenly pulled up outside.
Dave looked toward the door.
“That's Wayne!”
He immediately walked outside and greeted him with a huge smile.
Wayne stepped inside carrying a birthday gift.
“Happy birthday, brother!”
Dave hugged him.
“I'm glad you came!”
Several guests welcomed Wayne, and for a few moments, everything seemed perfect.
But then Amber noticed him.
Her smile immediately disappeared.
She stared at Wayne from across the room.
Dave noticed the tension.
“Amber, what's wrong?”
Amber didn't answer.
She walked directly toward Wayne.

“Wayne, you need to leave,” Amber suddenly said.
Everyone went silent.
Wayne looked completely confused.
“Wait… what?”
“I said you need to leave my house.”
Dave couldn't believe what he was hearing.
“Amber, I invited him!”
“I don't care,” Amber replied. “I don't want him here.”
Wayne looked at Dave.
“I don't want to cause problems. If she really wants me gone, I'll leave.”
Dave shook his head.
“No. You were invited by me.”
The entire party became uncomfortable.
Guests began whispering among themselves.
Amber remained firm.
“You have no idea what you're bringing into this house, Dave.”
Wayne's expression changed.
“What exactly is that supposed to mean?”
Amber refused to explain.
Instead, she pointed toward the door.
“Just leave.”
Chapter 4 — Dave Refuses to Let Wayne Leave
Dave finally lost his patience.
“Amber, this is my birthday. I invited Wayne here, and I'm not going to throw him out without even knowing what he did.”
Amber looked at Dave angrily.
“You'll regret letting him stay.”
Wayne stepped forward.
“Dave, it's okay. I don't want your birthday ruined because of me.”
But Dave stopped him.
“No. You're staying.”
The room became completely silent.
Amber walked away, visibly furious.
Wayne quietly asked Dave what was going on.
“I honestly don't know,” Dave admitted.
Then Amber's phone suddenly started ringing.
She looked at the screen.
Her expression instantly changed.
She walked into another room to answer the call.
Nobody knew who was calling.
But whatever she heard made her extremely nervous.

Amber returned several minutes later.
She looked completely different.
Dave immediately noticed.
“Who called you?”
“Nobody important,” Amber said.
Wayne looked at her.
“That doesn't look like a normal phone call.”
Amber glared at him.
“Stay out of this.”
Dave became suspicious.
“Amber, what's happening?”
She hesitated.
Then she finally said something that shocked everyone.
“Someone told me Wayne was coming here for a reason.”
Wayne looked confused.
“What reason?”
Amber didn't answer.
Dave stepped closer.
“Who told you that?”
Amber remained silent.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the front door.
Everyone turned around.
Dave walked toward it.
When he opened the door, he couldn't believe who was standing there.
Chapter 6 — The Unexpected Visitor
A person Dave wasn't expecting had arrived.
The visitor looked serious and immediately asked for Wayne.
Wayne stood up.
“Why are you looking for me?”
The visitor didn't answer directly.
Instead, he handed Dave an envelope.
“This was supposed to be given to you tonight.”
Dave slowly opened it.
Inside was a collection of documents.
He began reading them.
His face changed.
“What's wrong?” Wayne asked.
Dave looked at him.
“This has your name on it.”
Wayne stepped closer.
“What does it say?”
Dave hesitated.
Amber suddenly tried to take the papers from him.
“Don't read that here!”
That reaction shocked everyone.
Dave pulled the documents away.
“Why are you so scared of these papers?”
Amber said nothing.
Wayne realized there was clearly something much bigger happening.
Chapter 7 — The Secret Behind Amber’s Anger
Dave continued reading.
The documents appeared to contain information about something that had happened before the birthday party.
Wayne looked at Amber.
“Did you know about this?”
Amber finally admitted that she had heard something about the situation.
“But I didn't know if it was true.”
Dave was stunned.
“So you kicked Wayne out because of something you weren't even sure about?”
Amber became emotional.
“I was trying to protect you!”
Wayne shook his head.
“You could have simply talked to me.”
Amber looked away.
Then Dave noticed something strange.
One of the documents had a date from months earlier.
And the name written next to Wayne's wasn't the only familiar name.
There was another name on the page.
Dave's expression froze.
“Wait…”
He looked at Amber.
“Why is YOUR name on this?”
Chapter 8 — Everyone Wants Answers
The party had completely stopped.
Nobody was eating.
Nobody was dancing.
Everyone wanted to know what was happening.
Amber tried to explain herself.
“I didn't put my name there.”
Dave held up the document.
“Then how did it get there?”
Wayne looked at the page carefully.
“This isn't what it looks like.”
Dave turned toward him.
“Then tell me what it is.”
Wayne took a deep breath.
“I've been trying to figure that out myself.”
Amber suddenly realized that Wayne might actually be telling the truth.
She looked at him.
“So you didn't know about these papers?”
“No.”
Dave became even more suspicious.
Someone had clearly brought the documents to the party intentionally.
But why?
And why did they involve both Wayne and Amber?
Then Dave's phone received a message.
He looked at it.
His eyes widened.
Chapter 9 — The Message That Changed Everything
The message contained a single sentence:
“Don't trust the person standing next to you.”
Dave slowly looked around the room.
Everyone became nervous.
Wayne asked, “Who sent that?”
Dave showed him the phone.
Nobody recognized the number.
Amber suddenly became frightened.
“Dave, we need to stop this.”
Wayne looked at her.
“Stop what?”
Amber didn't answer.
Then another message arrived.
This time, there was a photograph attached.
Dave opened it.
The photograph showed Wayne and Amber together from an earlier day.
Everyone was shocked.
Wayne stared at the picture.
“I've never seen this.”
Amber looked equally confused.
Dave realized the photo had clearly been taken secretly.
Someone had been watching them.
But the biggest question remained:

Suddenly, the lights in the house went out.
Chapter 10 — The Shocking Birthday Twist
Everyone screamed as the entire house went dark.
Dave quickly turned on his phone flashlight.
“Everybody stay calm!”
After several seconds, the lights came back on.
But something had changed.
The envelope containing the documents was gone.
Dave looked at the table.
“Where are the papers?”
Nobody answered.
Wayne immediately realized someone must have taken them during the blackout.
Amber looked terrified.
Then Dave's phone rang again.
He answered.
A mysterious voice said:
“Now you understand why I didn't want Wayne at the party.”
Dave froze.
“Who is this?”
The caller laughed.
“You invited the wrong person.”
The call ended.
Everyone stared at Wayne.
Wayne shook his head.
“I swear I don't know what's happening.”
Dave stood beside him.
“I believe you.”
Amber looked toward the door.
Then she noticed something written on a small piece of paper lying on the floor.
She picked it up.
Her face turned pale.
“What does it say?” Dave asked.
Amber slowly looked at everyone.
“It says…”
She paused.
“This was never really Dave's birthday party. It was a trap.”
Everyone stood completely frozen.
And just as they realized the truth, someone knocked on the door again.
