Chapter 1 — Something Feels Wrong
Dave and Wayne were having a private conversation when Dave suddenly noticed something strange.
A notification appeared on his phone.
Someone had accessed information that they shouldn't have known about.
Dave immediately became suspicious.
“Wayne, look at this.”
Wayne checked the message.
“How would anybody know about that?”
Dave shook his head.
“I don't know, but somebody has been watching us.”
They started looking around.
At first, they couldn't find anything unusual.
Then Wayne noticed a small device near the room.
They immediately realized their private conversations might not have been private at all.
Chapter 2 — They Discover the Spy
Dave carefully examined the device.
It appeared that someone had been monitoring conversations in the room.
Wayne became serious.
“This has been happening for a while.”
Dave nodded.
“Someone wanted to know what we were saying.”
They checked their phones and discovered several suspicious messages.
The information being referenced was too specific to be a coincidence.
Then they realized something even more shocking.
The person spying on them seemed to know everything they had discussed with Amber.
Wayne looked at Dave.
“Do you think Amber knows?”
Dave shook his head.
“I don't think she has any idea.”
They decided not to tell Amber immediately.
Instead, they wanted to find out who was behind it.
Chapter 3 — Amber Knows Nothing
Meanwhile, Amber was completely unaware of what was happening.
She was going about her day as usual.
She had no idea that Dave and Wayne had discovered the suspicious device.
When Dave and Wayne saw her, they acted normally.
Amber asked:
“Why are you two being so quiet?”
Wayne smiled.
“Nothing.”
Dave nodded.
“Everything's fine.”
Amber became suspicious.
“You're both acting weird.”
Dave laughed.
“You're imagining things.”
Amber walked away.
Wayne waited until she was gone.
“She's definitely going to notice.”
Dave replied:
“That's why we need a plan.”
They decided to make Amber believe they were upset with each other.
Their goal was to see whether someone would react.
Chapter 4 — The Fake Argument
Dave and Wayne deliberately started arguing.
Their voices became loud enough for Amber to hear.
Amber immediately came running.
“What is going on?”
Dave acted angry.
“I'm done talking about this!”
Wayne responded:
“You made your decision!”
Amber looked confused.
“What decision?”
Neither man answered.
They walked away from each other.
Amber stood there completely confused.
She had no idea the argument was staged.
Dave and Wayne secretly watched to see what would happen next.
A few minutes later, Dave noticed something.
Someone had sent a message repeating details from their fake argument.
Wayne's eyes widened.
“It worked.”
They had caught the person spying on them.
But they still didn't know who was receiving the information.
Chapter 5 — Amber Becomes Suspicious
Amber started questioning everything.
She approached Dave.
“Why were you fighting with Wayne?”
Dave remained serious.
“It's nothing you need to worry about.”
Amber became frustrated.
“Why is everyone keeping secrets from me?”
Wayne walked past them without saying anything.
Amber became even more suspicious.
She thought something serious had happened between the two men.
But Dave and Wayne knew their plan was working.
They had deliberately created confusion.
That evening, another suspicious message arrived.
This time, it contained details about Amber's conversation with Dave.
Wayne looked at Dave.
“Whoever is doing this is getting information from somewhere close.”
Dave nodded.
Then they noticed something.
The person had mentioned a detail that only Amber, Dave, and Wayne knew.
Chapter 6 — They Decide to Teach Amber a Lesson
Dave and Wayne decided to reveal the truth—but not immediately.
They wanted Amber to understand how dangerous it was to trust rumors and private information.
Wayne said:
“She needs to see what happens when people believe everything they hear.”
Dave agreed.
They planned a harmless lesson.
They would create a fake story suggesting that Dave and Wayne were planning to leave town.
They wanted to see whether the information would reach the mysterious person.
Amber would hear the story too.
But they didn't realize Amber would take it seriously.
The next morning, Amber confronted Dave.
“Are you really leaving?”
Dave looked at Wayne.
Wayne struggled not to laugh.
The plan had worked too well.
Chapter 7 — Amber Gets Emotional
Amber became upset.
“I thought you were both staying.”
Dave finally realized they had gone too far.
He immediately told her:
“Amber, wait. There's something you need to know.”
Wayne joined them.
They explained that the story about leaving was completely fake.
Amber stared at them.
“You lied to me?”
Dave apologized.
“We were trying to find out who was spying on us.”
Amber was shocked.
“Someone was spying on you?”
Wayne showed her the evidence.
Amber's expression changed.
She finally understood why Dave and Wayne had been acting strangely.
But she was still upset.
“You should have told me.”
Dave admitted:
“You're right.”
Then Amber asked the most important question.
“Who is spying on you?”
Nobody had the answer yet.
Chapter 8 — The Evidence Leads Somewhere Unexpected
Dave and Wayne went through everything they had collected.
The suspicious messages.
The device.
The strange calls.
Then they noticed a pattern.
The information always appeared shortly after Amber had spoken with someone.
Dave became suspicious.
“Do you think someone is using Amber to get information?”
Wayne nodded.
“Maybe she doesn't even know.”
Amber overheard them.
“You think I'm involved?”
Dave immediately reassured her.
“No. We think someone may be taking advantage of you.”
Amber became determined to help.
She checked her own phone.
There were several unknown numbers in her recent messages.
One of them had repeatedly asked questions about Dave and Wayne.
Amber finally remembered something.
“I've seen this person before.”
Everyone went silent.
Chapter 9 — Amber Reveals What She Knows
Amber explained that someone had approached her recently.
They claimed to be concerned about Dave and Wayne.
They asked questions about their plans and conversations.
Amber admitted she had answered some of the questions without thinking much about it.
Dave looked at her.
“That's how they got the information.”
Amber felt terrible.
“I didn't know.”
Wayne reassured her.
“We know.”
They realized Amber hadn't intentionally betrayed anyone.
Someone had simply manipulated her trust.
Dave apologized for the fake story.
“We shouldn't have scared you like that.”
Amber nodded.
“But I understand why you did it now.”
Then they checked the unknown number.
It was connected to another account.
And that account belonged to someone they all recognized.
Chapter 10 — The Unbelievable Twist
Dave stared at the name.
“This can't be right.”
Wayne checked it again.
“It is.”
Amber asked:
“Who is it?”
Dave finally revealed the name.
It was someone they had trusted.
Someone who had been around them for a long time.
Amber couldn't believe it.
“Why would they spy on you?”
Nobody knew the full reason.
But they now had enough evidence to confront the person.
Dave looked at Amber.
“You've learned something today.”
Amber nodded.
“Don't trust every person who asks questions.”
Wayne added:
“And don't believe every rumor.”
Amber smiled slightly.
“I guess you two really did teach me a lesson.”
Dave laughed.
“But maybe we went a little too far.”
Suddenly, Dave's phone buzzed.
A new message appeared:
“You found out who's watching you… but you still don't know why.”
Everyone froze.
Wayne looked at Dave.
“This isn't over.”
Dave nodded.
Amber stared at the phone.
“What happens now?”
Dave replied:
“Now we find out the real reason.”
And just when they thought they had uncovered the truth, another shocking secret was waiting to be revealed.
