OH NO Bethany and Larry Are Kissing When Brooke Suddenly Walk In and Catch Them
It was a quiet evening after a long and exhausting day.
Larry and Bethany had finally found a few peaceful moments alone in the living room. Soft music played in the background as they talked about everything they had been through over the past few weeks—misunderstandings, family drama, and constant neighborhood gossip.
"I'm just grateful we made it through all of it together," Larry said with a smile.
Bethany nodded.
"So am I. Sometimes it feels like the whole world is against us."
Larry gently took Bethany's hand.
"You've always been by my side," he said. "Thank you."
Bethany smiled warmly, and the two shared a brief, affectionate kiss.

The front door opened.
"Hey, is anyone ho—"
Brooke stopped mid-sentence.
Her eyes widened as she saw Larry and Bethany embracing.
For a few seconds, the room was completely silent.
Bethany quickly stepped back, surprised that someone had walked in unexpectedly.
Larry looked equally startled.
"Brooke!" he exclaimed. "We didn't hear you come in."
Brooke stood frozen at the doorway.
"Oh... wow," she said awkwardly. "I guess I picked the wrong time to come over."
The silence became even more uncomfortable.
Bethany laughed nervously.
"It's not what it probably looked like..."
Brooke raised an eyebrow.
"I mean... it looked like two people kissing," she joked, breaking the tension.
Everyone burst into laughter.
Larry rubbed the back of his neck.
"You could've knocked first!"
Brooke smiled.
"I usually do—but the door was unlocked, so I thought I'd just come in."
Just then, Isaiah entered from the kitchen carrying snacks.
"What happened?" he asked.
Brooke couldn't hold back a grin.
"Oh, nothing... I just accidentally interrupted a very romantic moment."
Isaiah looked at Larry and Bethany, then immediately understood.
He laughed so hard he nearly dropped the bowl of popcorn.
"So that's why it got so quiet in here!"
Larry playfully shook his head.
"I don't think we're ever living this down."
The whole family laughed together as the awkward moment turned into a funny memory.
Later that evening, Brooke apologized.
"I really wasn't trying to interrupt," she said sincerely.
Bethany smiled.
"It's okay. These things happen."
Larry added with a laugh, "Next time, just ring the doorbell first."
"Deal," Brooke replied.
From that day on, the story became one of the family's favorite jokes.
Whenever someone visited, Brooke would smile and jokingly say, "I'm knocking this time!"
