A sudden knock echoed through the hallway.

Thinking it was Isaiah returning early, Brooke opened the bedroom door.

Instead, she found Isaiah's uncle standing there.

"I thought everyone was gone," he said with an uneasy smile.

Brooke politely replied, "They'll be back soon. Did you need something?"

Without answering her question, he stepped inside the room.

"I think you should wait downstairs," she said, moving toward the door.

Instead of leaving, he blocked the doorway.

Hearing the shouting, Charlotte, Larry, and Destiny—who had just arrived in another car—rushed into the house.

Within seconds, everyone gathered outside the bedroom.

Brooke, shaken and in tears, stepped out and stood beside Charlotte.

Charlotte wrapped her in a hug.

"You're safe now."

Larry looked directly at Isaiah's uncle.

"You need to leave this house immediately."

When he tried to argue, Isaiah interrupted.

"No. We're calling the police."

The room fell silent.

No one attempted to stop him.

A few minutes later, officers arrived and separated everyone to understand what had happened.

Brooke calmly explained the events, while Isaiah described what he had witnessed when he entered the room.

The officers thanked Brooke for speaking up and assured her they would investigate thoroughly.

As Isaiah watched the police escort his uncle away, he turned to Brooke.

"I'm so sorry you went through this."

Brooke wiped away her tears.

"You got here just in time."

Charlotte gently held Brooke's hand.

"What matters now is that you're safe."

Over the next several days, the family stayed close together, making sure Brooke never felt alone. They encouraged her to seek support, reminded her that what happened was not her fault, and stood beside her throughout the investigation.
