BREAKING Bethany Tries to Stop Larry from Causing a Scene at the Office—He Furiously Slaps Her, Says "You Can't Stop Me," and Threatens Her with Divorce

The office was unusually quiet as employees focused on their work. Bethany had just finished reviewing a few documents when she heard loud shouting coming from the front entrance.

She looked up and immediately recognized Larry's voice.

Without warning, Larry stormed into the office, visibly upset. Employees exchanged nervous glances as he demanded to speak with everyone immediately.

Bethany quickly walked toward him, hoping to calm the situation before it escalated.

"Larry, please," she said softly. "This isn't the place. Let's step outside and talk."

But Larry ignored her request.

"I've stayed quiet long enough!" he shouted. "Today, everyone is going to hear the truth!"

The entire office fell silent.

Coworkers stopped typing, phones stopped ringing, and all eyes turned toward the couple.

Bethany stood in front of Larry, trying to prevent him from creating an even bigger scene.

"Please don't do this," she pleaded. "We can solve this privately."

Larry clenched his fists in frustration.

"You can't stop me!" he yelled.

In the heat of the argument, Larry angrily shoved past Bethany, causing her to stumble backward. The sudden movement shocked everyone in the office, and several coworkers rushed toward Bethany to make sure she was okay.

"Bethany!" one employee cried.

She steadied herself and slowly stood back up.

Tears filled her eyes—not because of the stumble alone, but because she couldn't believe how far their relationship had fallen.

Larry pointed toward her and continued speaking through his anger.

"I'm done pretending everything is fine," he said. "Maybe it's time we ended this marriage for good."

The word "divorce" echoed through the room.

Gasps spread across the office.

Bethany stood frozen, unable to believe what she had just heard.

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

The silence felt heavier than the shouting.

Larry's breathing slowly became calmer as he looked around the room. He noticed frightened employees, disappointed faces, and Bethany standing quietly with tears in her eyes.

Only then did he realize how much pain and embarrassment the confrontation had caused.

Bethany took a deep breath.

"If that's truly how you feel," she said quietly, "then we'll discuss it the right way—not in front of everyone."

Without raising her voice, she picked up her belongings and walked toward the exit.

The office remained completely silent as she left.

Larry stood alone in the middle of the room, surrounded by stunned coworkers who had witnessed the heartbreaking confrontation.

As the office doors closed behind Bethany, everyone wondered the same thing:

Had this emotional outburst permanently ended their marriage, or was there still one final chance to repair what had been broken?

The answer would change both of their lives forever
