She had lost a significant amount of weight, but the emotional scars from the past few months were still fresh. Holding a small suitcase in one hand and a hospital discharge envelope in the other, she took a deep breath before walking up to the front door.

Inside, Larry was sitting quietly when he heard the doorbell ring.

He wasn't expecting anyone.

As he opened the door, he froze.

Bethany stood in front of him, looking completely different. Her surgery had transformed her appearance, and for a brief moment, Larry barely recognized her.

Neither of them spoke.

After several seconds of silence, Bethany finally whispered,

"Larry... I'm home."

"Those are... divorce papers?" she asked quietly.

Instead, he stepped outside and gently closed the front door behind him, leaving Brooke and Destiny watching nervously through the window.

"I never wanted things to end like this," Larry admitted.

Bethany fought back tears.

"I thought if I changed... if I became healthier... maybe we could start over."

Larry shook his head.

"This isn't about your appearance."

Then, a black SUV pulled into the driveway.

Charlotte and Jesse stepped out carrying flowers and a small welcome-home gift.

He had received a phone call from Brooke, begging him to come before things got worse.

Wayne walked straight toward Larry.

"Before you make a decision you'll regret, ask yourself one question," he said calmly.

"Are you ending this marriage because it truly can't be saved... or because you're still holding on to the pain?"

Larry looked at Bethany.

For the first time in months, he saw not the woman he had argued with, but someone who had fought through surgery, recovery, and countless sleepless nights hoping for another chance.

His grip on the divorce papers loosened.

Everyone watched in complete silence.

Would Larry tear up the documents and invite Bethany back into the house?

Just as Larry opened his mouth to answer, a courier vehicle pulled into the driveway.

"I have an urgent legal package for Larry," the driver announced.

Larry opened the envelope.

His face instantly turned pale.

"What is it?" Brooke asked nervously.

"The court... has suspended the divorce hearing because new evidence has been submitted."

Everyone gasped.

Bethany's eyes widened.

"What evidence?"

Larry slowly lowered the envelope.
