Larry stared at him.
"Tell me."
Jesse took a deep breath.
"It's about Charlotte."
Larry's expression changed.
"What did she do?"

Jesse revealed that Charlotte had allegedly taken money from him while Bethany was undergoing surgery.
But the shocking part wasn't the money.
According to Jesse, Charlotte had promised to help convince Larry to divorce Bethany.
Larry froze.
"She promised you what?"

Charlotte's eyes filled with tears.
"No."
Bethany replied,
"Then explain why Jesse says you did."
Charlotte couldn't immediately answer.
Larry finally understood how serious the situation had become.
Chapter 10: What Happened Next?
Charlotte eventually admitted that she had spoken to Jesse about Larry and Bethany's marriage—but insisted that Jesse had misunderstood her intentions.
Larry wasn't ready to accept her explanation.

Charlotte began crying.

Brooke stepped forward.

Everyone stared at the screen.
Larry's face went pale.
Bethany whispered,

Jesse slowly looked at Larry.
"I think that's the part you really need to hear."
