 Larry Returns to Atlanta… But Bethany FREEZES When She Sees Who’s Standing Behind Him  .....

The rain poured heavily across Atlanta that night. Thunder shook the windows of Bethany’s apartment as she sat alone on the couch, staring at her phone for the hundredth time.

No messages.
No calls.
Nothing from Larry. 

For days, rumors had been spreading online about Larry’s trip to Vegas. Photos with mysterious women. Late-night parties. Secret hotel meetings. Bethany tried to ignore it all, convincing herself people were exaggerating. But deep down… she felt something was wrong.

Then suddenly—

DING.

A message appeared on her screen.

Larry: “I’m back in Atlanta. We need to talk.”

Bethany’s heart started racing.

After everything that had happened, this was the moment she had been waiting for. Maybe Larry finally realized he made a mistake. Maybe he came back to fix their marriage.

She quickly stood up, fixing her hair and wiping tears from her face. Her emotions were everywhere—anger, hope, fear.

Bethany slowly walked toward the front door. Her hands were shaking so badly she could barely grab the handle.

When she opened it…

There stood Larry.

Tall. Silent. Serious.

He looked exhausted… almost guilty.

“Larry…” Bethany whispered.

Before she could say another word, her eyes slowly moved behind him—

Standing just a few feet behind Larry was JADE.

Bethany’s face instantly turned pale.

Jade stood there quietly holding a suitcase in one hand, avoiding eye contact. The tension became unbearable.

For several seconds, nobody spoke.

Then Bethany finally exploded.

“WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE?!” 

Neighbors nearby began opening their doors as Bethany’s voice echoed through the hallway.

Larry rubbed his forehead. “Bethany, calm down. Please let me explain.”

“EXPLAIN?!” she screamed. “You disappear for days… come back to Atlanta… and bring HER to my apartment?!”

Jade looked uncomfortable. “Bethany, it’s not what you think—”

“DON’T TALK TO ME!” Bethany snapped.

Larry stepped forward. “Jade had nowhere to go tonight. I was just helping her.”

But Bethany wasn’t buying it.

Tears filled her eyes as memories flashed through her mind—the rumors, the photos, the distance between them for months.

“You chose her,” Bethany whispered painfully.

Larry looked stunned. “No—”

“You already made your decision.”

Suddenly Bethany noticed something else.

Jade was wearing Larry’s hoodie. 

The exact black hoodie Bethany had bought Larry on his birthday.

That was the moment her heart completely shattered.

“Oh my God…” Bethany whispered, backing away slowly. “You really replaced me.”

Larry quickly tried to explain, but Bethany wasn’t listening anymore. Her tears poured uncontrollably as she pointed toward the hallway.

“Get out.”

“Bethany—”

“GET OUT!! BOTH OF YOU!!” 

Larry looked torn. For a moment, it seemed like he wanted to stay. But after a long silence, he grabbed Jade’s suitcase and slowly walked away.

Before entering the elevator, Larry turned around one last time.

Bethany stood in the doorway crying harder than ever before.
