 Larry Had ENOUGH! He Throws Divorce Papers at Bethany and Demands Her Signature 

The house was completely silent… but the tension inside felt louder than thunder.

For weeks, everyone around Larry had noticed something was changing. He barely smiled anymore. He stopped answering long phone calls. Even during family dinners, he would sit quietly, staring at the table while Bethany kept acting like nothing was wrong.

But deep down, Larry was reaching his limit.

That night, the rain poured heavily outside as Bethany walked into the living room carrying shopping bags like it was just another normal evening.

“Larry, you’re not gonna believe who I ran into today—”

“Sit down.”

His voice was cold. Calm. Different.

Bethany froze immediately.

The look on Larry’s face made her stomach twist. There was no warmth left in his eyes.

“What’s wrong with you?” she asked nervously.

Without saying another word, Larry reached beside him and grabbed a thick brown envelope sitting on the table.

Then suddenly—

SLAM!

He threw it directly in front of Bethany.

“What is this?” she whispered.

Larry leaned back in his chair, exhausted.

“Open it.”

Her hands trembled as she slowly opened the envelope… and the second she saw the words on top of the document, her face turned pale.

DIVORCE PAPERS.

Bethany looked up in complete shock.

“Larry… what is this supposed to mean?”

“It means I’m done.”

The room fell silent again.

Bethany nervously laughed, trying to believe it was some kind of joke.

“You’re being dramatic right now.”

“No,” Larry replied. “I’ve been patient for too long.”

His voice began shaking with anger he had been holding inside for months.

“I stayed quiet when you disrespected me in front of people. I stayed quiet when you blamed me for everything. I stayed quiet when this marriage started feeling like a prison.”

Bethany’s eyes filled with tears.

“So you’re just giving up on us?!”

Larry instantly stood up.

“Giving up?! Bethany, I FOUGHT for this marriage while you kept tearing it apart!”

His voice echoed through the house.

Upstairs, even Isaiah stopped moving after hearing the screaming.

Bethany wiped her tears angrily.

“You think you’re innocent?!” she shouted back. “Everybody knows you changed!”

Larry laughed bitterly.

“Yeah… I changed after realizing the woman I loved only cared when things benefited her.”

Bethany looked hurt by the words, but Larry wasn’t finished.

“You pushed everyone away. You caused drama with my family. You turned every situation into chaos. And somehow I kept convincing myself things would get better.”

He pointed at the papers on the table.

“But tonight? I’m done lying to myself.”

Bethany slowly shook her head.

“No… no, Larry. You don’t mean this.”

But Larry walked closer and placed a pen beside the papers.

“I already signed my part.”

The moment Bethany saw his signature already written across the bottom page… her knees almost gave out.

“You actually filed this?” she whispered.

Larry nodded silently.

Tears rolled down Bethany’s face as panic started taking over.

“What about our future? What about everything we built together?”

Larry’s expression hardened.

“You should’ve thought about that before destroying the peace in this house.”

Bethany suddenly grabbed his arm.

“Please… don’t do this.”

For a second, Larry looked away emotionally. You could tell part of him still loved her.

But the pain inside him had become bigger than the love.

“I can’t keep suffering just to keep this marriage alive,” he said quietly.

Bethany broke down crying.

Outside, thunder shook the windows as the reality finally hit her.

This wasn’t another argument.

This was the end.

Larry picked up his car keys and headed toward the front door.

Bethany cried out behind him.

“Larry PLEASE! Don’t walk away from me like this!”

He stopped for only one second without turning around.

Then he said the words that shattered her completely:

“I already lost myself trying to save you.”

And with that…

He walked out into the storm, leaving Bethany alone at the table… staring at the divorce papers that could change her life forever.
