Larry Crossed the Line With Sharra… And Bethany Walked In at the Worst Possible Moment
The rain poured hard outside the apartment that night. Thunder shook the windows while Bethany sat alone in her car, gripping the steering wheel with tears already forming in her eyes.
Larry had been acting strange for weeks.
Late-night phone calls.
Secret texts.
Leaving the room whenever Sharra’s name came up.
At first, Bethany tried to ignore it. She wanted to trust her husband. But deep down… something felt wrong.
Earlier that evening, Brooke accidentally let something slip.
“Wait… Larry told you he was at Isaiah’s house?”
Bethany froze.
“Yeah,” she whispered. “Why?”
Brooke’s face turned pale.
“Because… I just saw Sharra post a story from a hotel downtown.”
Bethany’s heart DROPPED.
Without saying another word, she grabbed her keys and drove straight through the storm.
When Bethany arrived at the hotel, her hands trembled as she stepped into the elevator. She kept praying she was overthinking.
“Please don’t let this be true…”
DING.
The elevator doors opened.
Room 407.
Bethany slowly walked down the hallway and stopped outside the door. She could hear laughter inside.
Larry’s laugh.
And Sharra’s.
Her breathing became shaky.
Then suddenly…
The door cracked open slightly.
Bethany pushed it open completely—
—and instantly froze.
Larry was sitting WAY too close to Sharra on the couch. His hand rested on her leg while Sharra leaned against his chest smiling.
The entire room went silent.
Larry’s eyes widened in pure shock.
“Bethany?!”
Sharra immediately stood up. “Wait—it’s not what it looks like!”
Bethany looked crushed. Tears filled her eyes as she stared at Larry’s hand still touching Sharra.
“You lied to me…” Bethany whispered.
Larry quickly stood up. “Babe, calm down, nothing happened!”
“DON’T call me babe!” Bethany shouted.
The pain in her voice shook the whole room.
Sharra tried to explain. “Larry was just helping me—”
“Helping you? In a HOTEL ROOM?!” Bethany snapped.
Larry stepped forward desperately.
“Bethany, listen to me. We were talking—”
“Talking doesn’t look like THIS!”
Bethany grabbed the glass vase sitting on the table and slammed it onto the floor, shattering it into pieces.
Larry flinched.
Sharra backed away silently.
“You embarrassed me,” Bethany cried. “After everything we been through… THIS is what you do?”
Larry’s voice softened.
“I swear I never meant to hurt you.”
But it was too late.
Bethany wiped her tears and slowly removed her wedding ring.
Larry’s face changed instantly.
“Bethany… don’t do that.”
She stared at him for one long painful second…
…then dropped the ring onto the hotel floor.
The sound echoed through the room.
“I’m done fighting for somebody who keeps choosing other women over me.”
And with that…
Bethany turned around and walked out.
Larry stood there speechless while Sharra looked completely stunned.
The moment the elevator doors closed, Bethany finally broke down crying.
Meanwhile, Larry picked up the wedding ring from the floor with shaking hands.
Because in that exact moment…
he realized he might’ve just lost Bethany for
