BREAKING NEWS 🚨 Larry angrily tears Bethany’s flight tickets and tells her, “You’re staying home. You don’t need to go anywhere.”
The house was unusually quiet that evening. The golden sunset outside the windows made the living room glow, but inside, the tension felt heavier than ever.
Larry stood near the kitchen counter, holding something tightly in his hand. His jaw was clenched, and his eyes burned with frustration.
Across the room, Bethany walked in with a small smile, unaware of the storm waiting for her.
“Larry… did the tickets arrive?” she asked casually, placing her purse on the table.
Larry didn’t answer immediately. Instead, he slowly lifted the envelope in his hand.
“Yes,” he said coldly. “They arrived.”
Bethany’s face lit up.
“Oh good! I need to start packing tonight. The flight leaves early tomorrow morning.”
But Larry’s expression didn’t change. If anything, his anger grew.
“Packing?” he repeated slowly.
Bethany frowned. “Yes… the trip to Miami. I told you this was important.”
Larry suddenly stepped forward and slammed the envelope on the table.
“Important?” he snapped. “Important to who, Bethany? Because it doesn’t seem important to this family!”
Bethany looked confused.
“What are you talking about?”
Larry opened the envelope and pulled out the plane tickets.
“For days you’ve been planning this trip,” he said, his voice shaking with anger. “But did you once stop and think about what’s happening here? About Brooke? About everything going on in this house?”
The mention of Brooke instantly made Bethany defensive.
“Oh please, Larry,” she said, crossing her arms. “Brooke is fine. She’s always dramatic. This trip has nothing to do with her.”
Larry stared at her in disbelief.
“That’s exactly the problem,” he said. “Everything has nothing to do with her in your world.”
Bethany rolled her eyes.
“I’m not canceling my trip because of another one of Brooke’s tantrums.”
Larry’s patience finally snapped.
Without another word, he grabbed the plane tickets.
Bethany noticed the movement.
“Larry… what are you doing?”
For a moment, the room froze.
Then—
RRRRIP.
Larry angrily tore the tickets straight down the middle.
Bethany gasped.
“LARRY! Are you insane?!”
But he didn’t stop.
RRRRIP.
He tore them again… and again… until the pieces of the flight tickets fell like confetti onto the floor.
Bethany’s face turned pale with shock.
“You just destroyed my flight tickets!” she shouted.
Larry’s voice thundered through the house.
“You’re staying home.”
Bethany blinked.
“What?”
Larry pointed toward the floor where the torn pieces lay.
“You don’t need to go anywhere.”
Bethany couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
“That trip cost hundreds of dollars!” she yelled. “You had NO right to do that!”
Larry stepped closer, his voice low but powerful.
“And you had no right to abandon this family when things are falling apart.”
Bethany shook her head angrily.
“You’re being controlling!”
Larry laughed bitterly.
“Controlling? No. I’m being the only responsible adult left in this house.”
Bethany grabbed her phone.
“Fine! I’ll just book another flight!”
Larry didn’t even hesitate.
“If you walk out that door tomorrow,” he said firmly, “don’t bother coming back.”
Bethany froze.
The words hung in the air like thunder.
“You wouldn’t dare,” she whispered.
Larry looked straight into her eyes.
“Try me.”
From the hallway, a quiet sound broke the silence.
Brooke had been standing there the whole time, listening.
Her eyes moved from Larry… to Bethany… to the torn tickets on the floor.
For the first time in a long time, Brooke looked scared.
Bethany noticed her and immediately grew defensive again.
“Oh great,” she muttered. “Now the audience shows up.”
But Brooke didn’t say anything.
She simply turned around and walked back to her room.
Larry watched her leave, pain flashing across his face.
Then he looked back at Bethany.
“This is exactly why you’re not going anywhere,” he said.
Bethany stood there, furious, breathing heavily.
But deep down, she could feel something she hated admitting.
Larry wasn’t bluffing.
And the real shock was still coming…
Because later that night, Bethany would receive a phone call that would change everything — and make her wish those flight tickets had never been destroyed.
And when the truth finally came out…
The entire family would be shaken forever. 😱
