Larry paused for a second… then nodded.

“I’m gonna fix this,” he said firmly. “I promise you.”

Within hours, they were on a flight headed straight to Montana. The entire journey felt like a nightmare. Jaden sat silently, staring out the window, while Larry’s mind kept racing—thinking about the secret letter, the warning, and one terrifying line:

“She was set up.”

“Who would do this…?” Larry muttered under his breath.

As soon as they landed, they didn’t even stop. No hotel. No rest.
