Bethany Confronts Larry to Stop Brooke from Going to Sharra House 😱
Chapter 1: A Disturbing Call
Bethany was pacing the living room when her phone rang. It was one of her acquaintances, someone who had always been quick to feed her information.
“Bethany,” the voice whispered, “Brooke’s on her way to Sharra’s house. She says she needs answers about you, Larry, and everything that’s been happening.”
Bethany’s blood ran cold. Brooke had already been pulling away from her, but if she reached Sharra, the damage could be irreversible.
Chapter 2: The Panic Sets In
Bethany’s mind raced. Sharra already had too much power. She had stolen Larry’s time, his trust, and now she wanted to take Brooke too.
“No,” Bethany muttered to herself, clutching her phone. “I won’t let Sharra poison her against me.”
In a whirlwind of fury, Bethany grabbed her car keys. But she realized one thing: she couldn’t stop Brooke directly. Brooke had stopped listening to her long ago.
There was only one person who could intervene now—Larry.
Chapter 3: The Confrontation Begins
Bethany stormed into Larry’s office unannounced, slamming the door behind her. Larry looked up, startled.
“What now, Bethany?” he sighed.
Bethany’s voice was sharp, almost trembling. “You need to stop Brooke from going to Sharra’s house.”
Larry frowned. “And why would I do that? Brooke has every right to talk to whoever she wants.”
Bethany stepped closer, her eyes blazing. “Don’t play dumb, Larry. You know exactly what Sharra will do. She’ll twist everything, fill Brooke’s head with lies, and you’ll sit back and let it happen?”
Chapter 4: Larry Pushes Back
Larry leaned back in his chair, his arms crossed. “Maybe Brooke deserves the truth. You’ve been hiding too much, Bethany. Maybe she needs to hear it from someone else.”
Bethany’s heart nearly stopped.
“The truth?” she scoffed. “Since when has Sharra ever told the truth? She wants to ruin me, Larry. And if Brooke listens to her, I’ll lose my daughter forever.”
For the first time, Bethany’s voice cracked, revealing the fear beneath her anger.
Chapter 5: The Plea
Bethany grabbed Larry’s arm, desperation spilling out of her.
“Please, Larry. I’ve already lost enough—don’t let me lose Brooke too. If she believes Sharra, there will be no coming back. She’ll hate me, and she’ll side with you.”
Larry looked at her in silence, torn between his bitterness toward Bethany and the lingering sense of duty they still shared as parents.
Chapter 6: A Dangerous Bargain
“Fine,” Larry finally said, his tone low. “I’ll talk to Brooke. I’ll tell her not to go to Sharra’s house. But, Bethany—” he paused, locking eyes with her—“if I do this, you’re going to have to come clean. No more secrets. No more lies.”
Bethany froze. “Come clean about what?” she asked, but her voice faltered.
“You know exactly what,” Larry said coldly.
Chapter 7: The Interruption
Before Bethany could respond, her phone buzzed. A message from an unknown number lit up the screen:
“It’s too late. Brooke is already here. – Sharra”
Bethany’s hands shook as the phone slipped from her grip.
Chapter 8: The Shattered Realization
She stared at Larry, wide-eyed.
“She’s there. Brooke’s already with her.”
Larry didn’t look surprised. In fact, there was something almost resigned in his eyes.
“Maybe this is how it was always meant to be,” he murmured. “The truth has a way of coming out, Bethany. Whether you like it or not.”
Chapter 9: The Storm Inside
Bethany’s chest tightened. She had fought so hard to keep her lies buried, to maintain control over her family, over Larry, over Brooke.
And now, all of it was slipping away — not because of her enemies, but because of Sharra.
For the first time, Bethany felt truly powerless.
Chapter 10: What Comes Next
As she stood frozen, Larry walked past her, grabbing his coat.
“Where are you going?” she demanded.
“To Sharra’s,” he said calmly. “If Brooke’s going to hear the truth, I want to make sure she hears it all.”
Bethany’s world spun. Larry, Brooke, and Sharra—together, under the same roof.
If the truth came out tonight, it wouldn’t just destroy her reputation. It would destroy everything.
