When Angelina ask Shayla to invite Amber in Kai Birthday Party 😱
Chapter 1 – Angelina’s Unexpected Call
The night before Kai’s big day, Shayla was arranging decorations in her living room. She wanted everything to be perfect — balloons, cake, and smiles — a chance to repair her shattered image.
But her phone rang. It was Angelina.
Her voice was calm but carried a dangerous edge.
“Shayla, listen carefully. You need to invite Amber to Kai’s party.”
Shayla almost dropped the balloon she was holding. Amber? The last person she wanted there?
Chapter 2 – Shayla’s Panic
“Are you insane, Angelina?” Shayla hissed. “Why would I invite Anthony’s ex when I’m trying to prove to him that we’re still a family?”
Angelina’s laugh was cold.
“Because, my dear, truth comes out best when everyone is watching. And Amber deserves to see Kai with her own eyes. You want Anthony to trust you? Then act like you have nothing to hide.”
Shayla’s stomach twisted. She didn’t know whether Angelina was helping her or setting her up for disaster.
Chapter 3 – The Reluctant Invitation
After pacing the floor for hours, Shayla finally typed the message:
“Amber, Kai’s birthday party is tomorrow. You’re welcome to come.”
Her hand shook as she hit send. Within minutes, Amber replied with a single word:
“I’ll be there.”
Chapter 4 – Anthony’s Confusion
The next morning, Anthony overheard Amber telling a friend she was going to Kai’s birthday party. Shocked, he asked,
“Why would Shayla invite you?”
Amber shrugged, though her eyes betrayed her curiosity.
“Maybe she wants to prove something. Or maybe she’s hiding something.”
Anthony didn’t know what to think, but one thing was certain — the party was no longer just a celebration.
Chapter 5 – The Birthday Begins
Guests arrived with gifts and laughter, but the tension in the air was suffocating. Shayla plastered on a fake smile, pretending everything was under control.
Kai giggled, unaware of the storm brewing around him. For him, it was just balloons and toys. For everyone else, it was a battlefield.
Chapter 6 – Amber’s Arrival
When Amber walked in, the room fell silent. Heads turned. Shayla’s smile faltered, but she forced herself to greet her.
“Amber, glad you could make it.”
Amber raised an eyebrow, sensing Shayla’s unease. “I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
Anthony, standing nearby, watched both women carefully, his heart torn between loyalty, suspicion, and exhaustion.
Chapter 7 – Angelina’s Entrance
Then came Angelina, arriving fashionably late. She strutted into the room like she owned it, her eyes glinting with mischief. She leaned close to Shayla and whispered,
“Now watch how quickly masks fall when the right people are in the same room.”
Shayla shivered. She suddenly realized Angelina had orchestrated this chaos for a reason.
Chapter 8 – Subtle Tensions
As the party went on, Shayla tried to play the perfect hostess. But Amber’s watchful eyes followed every move. When Shayla handed Kai his gift, Amber leaned toward Anthony and whispered,
“Do you see how nervous she is? She’s hiding something.”
Anthony didn’t reply, but his jaw tightened.
Chapter 9 – Angelina’s Games
At the cake-cutting, Angelina clapped dramatically. “What a beautiful family moment! Anthony, Amber, Shayla… all here for Kai.”
The guests murmured, sensing the underlying tension. Shayla’s face burned with anger. This wasn’t a birthday party anymore — it was a staged performance, and Angelina was the director.
Chapter 10 – The Whisper That Changed Everything
As the children played in the background, Angelina leaned close to Amber and whispered something that made her eyes widen in shock.
Amber turned to Shayla and said, loudly enough for Anthony to hear:
“Is it true? Did you really lie about Kai’s father?”
The entire room froze. Shayla’s heart stopped. Anthony’s head snapped toward her, his eyes demanding answers.
The birthday party that was supposed to unite them had just turned into a battlefield of secrets and betrayals — all because Angelina made one deadly request.
