Shocking Meetup😱 Shayla begged to Cocoa for Anthony.😰
Chapter 1: The Call No One Expected
Cocoa had just returned from a long shift at the community center when her phone vibrated. The name that flashed on the screen made her stomach turn: Shayla.
They hadn’t spoken since the court hearings — since the DNA revelations, since the chaos around Kai and Anthony had exploded across everyone’s lives. Cocoa’s loyalty was firmly with Anthony, but curiosity got the best of her.
She answered.
“Hello?”
Shayla’s voice was hoarse. Shaken.
“Please… I need to see you. Just once.”
Chapter 2: A Meeting in Secret
They met at a small, quiet café far from the neighborhoods where anyone would recognize them. Cocoa wore sunglasses, trying to keep a low profile, but Shayla looked like she hadn't slept in days.
Hair messy, makeup smeared, hands trembling around her coffee cup — Shayla looked like a woman on the edge.
“Thank you for coming,” she whispered.
Cocoa folded her arms.
“Make it quick.”
Shayla took a breath, then dropped her pride like broken glass on the table.
“I need your help… I need Anthony back.”
Chapter 3: The Plea
Cocoa’s expression didn’t change. She sat still, studying Shayla carefully.
“You lied to him. You lied to all of us. And now you want him back?”
Shayla's voice cracked.
“I know I messed up. But I was scared. I never meant for it to go this far.”
Cocoa leaned forward.
“You told him Kai was his son. You watched him cry over that boy. You made him feel like a father — like he was finally enough for someone — and then you let it happen. That’s not a mistake. That’s manipulation.”
Shayla wiped away tears.
“But he loved me once… I know there’s still something left.”
Chapter 4: Cocoa’s Breaking Point
The air in the café grew heavy. Cocoa’s patience thinned.
“You’re too late. Amber, Anthony, even Kai — all of them are cleaning up the wreckage you caused.”
Shayla slammed her palm on the table, startling nearby guests.
“I WAS FORCED TO LIE!”
Cocoa raised an eyebrow.
“By who?”
Shayla hesitated. Her eyes darted to the window, then back to Cocoa.
“Angelina. Zashery. Even Brittany knew. They all had something on me.”
Cocoa’s face darkened. If that was true, this went deeper than they all realized.
Chapter 5: Desperate Terms
Shayla reached into her purse and pulled out a small velvet box.
“This was the ring Anthony gave me — when he first proposed. I never took it off… until the court date. I brought it here today to show you… I haven’t given up. Please — talk to him. Just once. Let me apologize. One last chance.”
Cocoa looked at the ring, then up at the woman who had once shattered Anthony’s world.
“You want me to convince him to give you another chance… when all he wants now is truth and peace?”
Shayla nodded, lip trembling.
Chapter 6: The Final Warning
Cocoa stood up.
“I won’t speak for Anthony. But I’ll tell you this: if you try to play another game — if this is just another act — it won’t be me you’ll answer to. It’ll be the truth. And this time, you won’t be able to lie your way out.”
Shayla lowered her head.
“I’m not lying anymore. I’m begging.”
Chapter 7: Outside the Café
As Cocoa walked to her car, she glanced back through the café window. Shayla was sitting alone, clutching the engagement ring like it was the last piece of her soul.
Cocoa didn’t feel anger anymore.
Just pity.
And a strange, lingering question:
Was Shayla really sorry… or was this just her final performance?
