Court FREEZES Anthony’s Assets – Amber Finds Out the SHOCKING Truth from the Counselor!
Chapter One: The Freeze
Anthony sat in silence at the corner of his lawyer’s office, drumming his fingers against the leather chair. The morning had started like any other — a restless night, a coffee he barely tasted, and the looming tension of Shayla’s upcoming fraud trial. But nothing could have prepared him for what his attorney, Malcolm, had just said.
“The court has officially frozen all your accessible assets, pending further investigation into the paternity fraud case. This includes your accounts, investments… even the Westfield property.”
Anthony’s eyes widened.
“You can’t be serious. That’s my home. And Amber lives there!”
“Not anymore,” Malcolm said grimly, sliding a file across the desk. “She moved out yesterday.”
“What?”
“She didn’t tell you?” Malcolm raised an eyebrow. “You might want to talk to her. But there’s more… Shayla’s attorney filed a new motion claiming emotional and financial distress.”
Anthony’s mouth went dry. He felt the walls closing in — every choice, every delay, now crashing down on him at once.
Chapter Two: Amber’s Visit to the Counselor
While Anthony was scrambling to figure out how he lost access to everything he owned, Amber was already two steps ahead — meeting with Counselor Rivera, the same therapist who had worked with Anthony and her during their brief attempt at reconciliation.
Amber, calm but shaken, sat down with a journal in her lap.
“Something isn’t right,” she told Rivera. “Why would the court suddenly believe Shayla’s claims? Unless… someone gave them a reason to.”
Rivera hesitated, glancing at her notepad, then at the door, as if ensuring they were alone.
“Amber… off the record, there’s something I think you deserve to know.”
“I’m listening.”
Rivera leaned in.
“Back in one of Anthony’s solo sessions — just after Shayla’s first public accusation — he admitted that he had signed two financial agreements with her. One was a temporary custody support agreement — and the other…”
She stopped.
“Was what?” Amber asked, her voice tight.
“The other was a private settlement to keep her silent.”
Chapter Three: The Silent Settlement
Amber stood up, shocked.
“He paid her? To be quiet?”
Rivera nodded.
“It was before the fraud was confirmed. He was scared of losing his image — his company, his brand, even you. He thought if he gave her what she wanted, she’d go away.”
“And instead, she came back with claws.”
“Exactly.”
Amber’s mind was spinning. Everything now made sense — why Anthony had been so secretive, why Shayla had leverage, and most of all, why the court had frozen his assets.
“That second agreement… it makes it look like he was complicit.”
“Or hiding something even worse,” Rivera said carefully.
Amber left the office feeling like the ground had been ripped from beneath her. All the pieces she’d been trying to hold together — Anthony, the trial, Baby Kai, Amara — were falling apart. And now, with the court freezing Anthony’s money, it wasn’t just reputations on the line. Lives were about to be uprooted.
Chapter Four: Anthony Confronts Amber
Hours later, Anthony found Amber outside the Westfield property — now locked and sealed.
“You moved out?” he asked, breathless.
“I didn’t have a choice,” she said. “The court had an officer serve notice. But you know what’s worse?”
She stepped forward, staring him straight in the eye.
“You paid Shayla to shut up. And never told me.”
Anthony swallowed hard.
“I thought I was protecting everyone—”
“No, you were protecting yourself,” Amber cut in. “And now they’re treating you like you helped commit fraud. That money trail ties you to her — and it’s killing your case.”
“I was trying to keep us together.”
“You should have told me the truth.”
A long silence hung between them.
“You might still lose Kai,” Amber whispered. “And now… if you don’t fight back with the full truth, you’ll lose Amara too.”
Chapter Five: The Shocking Revelation
Back in the counselor’s office, Rivera made a phone call — not to Anthony, not to Amber… but to Cocoa.
“We may have a serious problem,” she said.
“You mean Shayla’s fraud?” Cocoa asked.
“No. I mean the third agreement. The one no one has seen yet.”
“Wait — what third agreement?”
Rivera’s voice dropped.
“The one signed with Angelina’s signature. She paid Shayla behind Anthony’s back… long before he knew anything.”
TO BE CONTINUED…
