๐ Amber Finds Out About the Secret Affair Between Anthony and Rolonda — What She Did Next Shook Everyone
Chapter One: The Phone That Should’ve Been Locked
Amber wasn’t looking to snoop.
She had simply picked up Anthony’s phone when it buzzed.
He was in the shower. The message preview flashed innocently:
Rolonda: “Last night… I can still feel you. When can we talk?”
Her heart froze. Amber knew Rolonda — vaguely. She was a consultant from the firm Anthony had worked with during the custody trial. Pretty. Professional. But this?
Her hands shook as she unlocked the phone. The thread was long. And explicit.
Rolonda: “Does she suspect anything yet?”
Anthony: “No. But I feel sick lying to her.”
Rolonda: “Then don’t. Come to me.”
Chapter Two: Rolonda… THAT Rolonda?
Amber sat alone in the living room, staring at the wall. The house was too quiet. Too clean. Too fake.
How long had this been going on?
Rolonda — the woman Amber had smiled at across court benches. The one Anthony had once said was “just there to help with evidence procedures.”
And all this time, she was the one he turned to when things got hard?
Amber stood up and grabbed her keys. She didn’t even know where she was going. Just away.
Chapter Three: Cocoa Connects the Dots
Amber drove to Cocoa’s place. She couldn’t face Anthony — not yet. Not until she understood.
Cocoa opened the door and saw her friend’s broken face.
“What happened?”
Amber handed her the phone. Cocoa scrolled silently. Her eyes widened.
“Wait… Rolonda? As in the same Rolonda who helped Shayla submit the DNA objection?!”
Amber blinked.
“What are you talking about?”
“Oh girl… You don’t know the half of it.”
Chapter Four: A Web of Lies
Cocoa spilled everything. Months ago, Rolonda had pushed to have the first DNA test dismissed on technicalities. She had claimed “sample tampering” without explanation — and the judge bought it.
Now it made sense. Anthony had been working with Rolonda behind the scenes.
But why? What else had he hidden?
Amber’s mind raced.
Did he sleep with her to get her help?
Did Shayla know?
Was this… revenge?
Chapter Five: The Confrontation
That night, Amber waited for Anthony to come home.
When he walked through the door, towel slung over his shoulder, he smiled casually.
“Hey, babe. What’s for—”
“Sit down.”
The tone in her voice silenced him.
Amber dropped his phone on the table.
“Explain everything. Start with Rolonda.”
His face went pale.
“Amber, it’s not— It didn’t mean—”
“STOP. Lying. To me.”
Chapter Six: The Confession
Anthony rubbed his face. His voice trembled.
“It started during the second custody hearing. I was breaking down. Rolonda was just… there.”
“And then?” Amber’s eyes were like ice.
“We got drinks. I vented. She listened. One night, I slipped. And I didn’t stop slipping.”
Amber felt her stomach twist. She could hardly breathe.
“So you were falling apart… and instead of coming to me, you went to her?”
Anthony nodded, ashamed.
“I didn’t plan it. I regretted it every time. But I kept going back.”
Chapter Seven: One Woman's Revenge
Amber didn’t cry. Not yet.
“Do you love her?”
Anthony paused for too long.
“No. I don’t think so. But she gave me control. You always made me feel like the broken one.”
Amber stood.
“Maybe you were.”
She grabbed her bag and walked out — but not before whispering:
“Tell Rolonda I’ll see her soon. Woman to woman.”
Chapter Eight: The Public Fallout
The next day, Amber posted a cryptic message on her story:
“Sometimes the people who say they’re fighting for you… are just fighting for your replacement.”
Comments flooded in. Followers speculated.
Amber unfollowed Anthony and Rolonda.
And then — she posted a video. No music. No filter.
Just her.
“To everyone wondering why I’m quiet — it’s because I’ve been betrayed. Again. But not by a stranger. By someone I trusted with my story, my child, and my life.”
The internet exploded.
Chapter Nine: Rolonda’s Statement
Rolonda tried to do damage control. She posted:
“No one is perfect. I did what I thought was right at the time. But I didn’t mean to hurt anyone.”
It only made things worse.
Screenshots leaked. Photos. Even a voicemail where Rolonda mocked Amber to a colleague.
“She’s a good actress. I bet even the tears are rehearsed.”
That was the final straw.
Chapter Ten: The Ending… Or the Beginning?
Amber returned to the apartment the next day — but only to pack her things.
Anthony begged her to stay.
“We can fix this. I’ll cut Rolonda off. I’ll go to counseling.”
Amber stared at him, silent. Then said:
“I believed you when you said you wanted a future.
I didn’t realize it didn’t include honesty.”
She left the keys on the counter.
Anthony was alone again.
But this time, the damage wasn't Shayla, or court, or DNA.
This was his own betrayal.
And it had cost him everything.
