๐Ÿ’Œ “Amber Writes Anthony One Final Letter — The One She Never Meant to Send”

Some things are easier left unsaid. But for Amber, the silence had become unbearable. After weeks of heartbreak, betrayal, and blurred truths, she sat alone in her apartment with a pen in hand and a storm in her chest. She never planned to send this letter to Anthony. She didn’t even plan to finish it. But once the words started flowing, they revealed everything — love, anger, guilt, and the secret she had been hiding from him all along.

๐ŸŒ™ Chapter 1: Alone With the Truth

The rain tapped gently against the windowpane as Amber curled up on her couch, a wool blanket over her legs and Kai’s baby photos spread across the table beside her. It was late — too late to be thinking about Anthony again. And yet, she couldn’t stop.

She had told herself she was done. After Shayla moved out. After the last court hearing. After that night at Angelina’s house when Anthony didn’t even fight for her.

But the ache was still there. The “what if” still haunted her.

And so, she opened a drawer, pulled out a lined journal, and wrote across the top:

"To Anthony — The Last Thing I’ll Ever Say."

✍️ Chapter 2: The First Line — Soft, But Sharp

“Anthony,
I wasn’t supposed to fall in love with you. You weren’t supposed to be my chaos, and I was never supposed to be your shelter. But we happened anyway. And now I don’t know how to un-happen you.”

Amber paused, already fighting tears. But the pen didn’t stop.

“You lied to me. Maybe not always with words. But with your silences. With your disappearances. With your promises you never kept.”

She thought about all the nights she waited. The calls that never came. The way he’d disappear into his phone after seeing messages from names she never met.

Piarry.
Angelina.
Shayla.

So many names. So many stories. All orbiting around him like broken satellites.

๐Ÿ’” Chapter 3: The Confession

Then came the part she never thought she’d write.

“You know what's the worst part? I still loved you — even after I found out the truth about Kai. Even after I knew he might not be yours. I was willing to stay, Anthony. Not for the lie, but for the love I thought we still had.”

She blinked at her own words, re-reading them as her chest tightened.

“And I lied to you too. That’s the part that eats at me. I lied when I said I didn’t care anymore. I lied when I said I hated you. And I’ve been lying to myself every day since — pretending I’m okay.”

๐Ÿ˜ข Chapter 4: The Memory That Broke Her

Amber reached over and picked up the small elephant charm Anthony had once given her. It had fallen behind the bookshelf weeks ago. She had picked it up tonight without even thinking, and now it sat in her palm like a wound that hadn’t healed.

“Remember the first time you called me beautiful? It wasn’t when I had makeup on. It wasn’t at a party or in bed. It was at that grocery store on a Sunday morning when I spilled orange juice all over myself. And you laughed. Then you said, ‘You’re a beautiful disaster.’ I don’t think you knew how true that would become.”

She smiled sadly at the memory.

“I wish you would’ve fought for me, Anthony. But you didn’t. And that’s why this is goodbye.”

๐Ÿงƒ Chapter 5: The Secret She Never Meant to Share

Amber almost stopped writing there.

But something inside her begged to be released. One last truth. The one she swore she’d carry to her grave.

“Also… I lied about one more thing. When I told you I was late that one time — and then later said it was a false alarm — it wasn’t. I was pregnant.”

“I lost it before I could tell you. I didn’t want your pity. I didn’t want another responsibility on your shoulders. I didn’t even know if it was the right thing. But every time I see Kai’s face, I wonder what our baby would’ve looked like.”

The ink smeared as tears hit the page.

“I grieved in silence. And now, I think that silence has swallowed me whole.”

๐Ÿ•Š️ Chapter 6: Signing Off

She stared at the final empty lines. Her fingers trembled as she wrote:

“I don’t need closure from you anymore. I just needed to let it out. For me.
I hope one day you become the man I believed you already were.
Goodbye, Anthony.
– Amber.”

She folded the paper, slid it into an envelope, and wrote his name on the front — nothing more.

Then she did what she never planned to do…

She walked it to the mailbox.

And dropped it in.

๐Ÿ“ฌ The Aftermath

She never told anyone about the letter.

Not Cocoa. Not Shayla. Not even Angelina.

And for days, there was no response. Not a call. Not a message. Nothing.

Until…

Three weeks later, an envelope arrived at her door.

No return address. No message inside.

Just a small elephant charm…

And a plane ticket.
