Is shayla want divorce from Anthony or his money?...
Shayla’s Endgame: Love or Money?
Shayla sat across from her lawyer, perfectly manicured fingers tapping against the sleek mahogany desk. She wasn’t nervous. She wasn’t emotional.
She was calculating.
"You sure about this?" her lawyer asked, adjusting his glasses.
Shayla smirked, crossing her legs. "Absolutely."
The man hesitated. "You’re divorcing Anthony… but what exactly do you want out of it? The house? The cars? A clean break?"
Shayla let out a soft chuckle.
"Oh, sweetheart… I don’t just want a clean break. I want what’s mine."
The lawyer frowned. "And what’s that?"
Her eyes gleamed with something dangerous.
"Every. Damn. Dollar."
The Beginning of the End
Anthony sat in his car, gripping the divorce papers in his hands.
His jaw was tight, anger boiling just beneath the surface.
He knew Shayla wasn’t leaving out of love.
She wasn’t leaving because she was hurt.
She was leaving because she had planned this from the start.
And she wanted to take him for everything he had.
"Shayla, really?" he muttered, flipping through the documents.
Alimony.
Half of his assets.
The damn business he built from the ground up.
She wanted it all.
And the worst part?
She could get it.
The Confrontation
Anthony stormed into the house, the papers crumpled in his fist.
Shayla was waiting, glass of wine in her hand, looking unbothered.
"You got something to say?" she asked smoothly, taking a sip.
Anthony threw the papers onto the table.
"Half, Shayla? The business? Are you serious right now?"
She sighed, setting her glass down.
"Anthony, let’s not act like this wasn’t inevitable. You cheated, you lied, and now you’re mad because I’m doing what’s best for me?"
Anthony scoffed.
"Don’t play that game with me. This was never about us. This was about my money. My success. You wanted in, you got what you wanted, and now you’re cashing out."
Shayla stood up, walking toward him slowly.
"You think I was just in it for the money?" she whispered, tilting her head.
Anthony stared her down.
"I think you were in it for yourself."
She let out a low laugh.
"Maybe," she admitted. "But let’s be real, Anthony… you knew who I was when you married me."
The Ultimatum
Anthony clenched his jaw.
"So this is it? You’re really walking away from everything?"
Shayla shrugged.
"I’m not walking away with nothing. I’m walking away with what I deserve."
His fists tightened.
"You don’t deserve a damn thing."
She smirked.
"That’s not what the law says."
Silence filled the room.
Anthony exhaled sharply.
"You think money is gonna make you happy?"
Shayla’s eyes darkened.
"No. But it’ll make leaving you a hell of a lot easier."
Anthony didn’t say another word.
He just nodded, jaw tight, and walked away.
Because deep down…
He knew Shayla had already won.
To Be Continued…?
Will Anthony fight back? Will Shayla really walk away with everything? Or is there more to the story? Let me know if you want the next part! 🔥👀
