Anthony knows what Shayla did, but will anyone believe him?

"The Truth No One Wants to Hear"

Anthony’s hands clenched into fists as he paced back and forth in his dimly lit apartment. His heart pounded so loudly it echoed in his ears.

He knew.

He finally knew what Shayla had done.

But the real question was—would anyone believe him?

Shayla had spent years perfecting her image, hiding behind fake smiles and calculated moves. To the outside world, she was untouchable. But Anthony had uncovered the truth, and now, that truth was eating him alive.

He had to expose her.

Before it was too late.

The Revelation

It all started with a single document—something Anthony had stumbled upon by accident.

A medical report.

At first, he hadn’t thought much of it. But as he read through the details, his stomach twisted into knots. The dates. The signatures. The lies.

Shayla had forged hospital records.

And not just any records—Amber’s records.

She had manipulated test results, altered information, and made sure that things looked different than they actually were.

She wanted Amber to believe something that wasn’t true.

And Anthony knew exactly why.

The Confrontation

Anthony stormed into Shayla’s condo, his blood boiling.

She was lounging on the couch, swirling a glass of red wine, completely unbothered.

"Anthony," she said smoothly, not even looking up. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

He threw the papers onto the coffee table. "Cut the act, Shayla. I know what you did."

She sighed, setting her glass down. "And what exactly do you think I did?"

Anthony leaned in, his voice sharp as a blade. "You tampered with Amber’s medical records. You lied. You set her up."

Shayla smirked, tilting her head. "That’s a bold accusation."

"It’s the truth," he spat. "And I’m gonna make sure everyone knows it."

Shayla’s expression didn’t falter. If anything, she looked amused.

"And who’s going to believe you, Anthony?" she asked, her voice dripping with mock sympathy. "You? The man with a reputation for lying, cheating, and running away?" She chuckled. "Amber won’t believe you. No one will."

Anthony’s fists clenched.

"You don’t get to ruin her life and walk away like nothing happened," he growled. "Not this time."

Shayla stood, stepping closer, her voice lowering to a whisper.

"You think you can save her from me?" she taunted. "Go ahead. Try. But you’re already too late."

Anthony’s heart pounded as he stared into her cold, calculating eyes.

He had to warn Amber.

And he had to do it now.

The Race Against Time

Anthony’s car sped through the city streets, his hands gripping the wheel so tightly his knuckles turned white.

He tried calling Amber. No answer.

His stomach twisted.

What if Shayla had already gotten to her?

He pressed harder on the gas.

By the time he reached Amber’s apartment, he felt like he could barely breathe. He pounded on the door.

"Amber! Open up!"

No response.

His heart sank.

Then, the door finally creaked open.

Amber stood there, her expression unreadable, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Anthony," she said, her voice cautious. "What are you doing here?"

Anthony exhaled, trying to steady himself.

"I need to tell you something," he said. "And I need you to trust me."

Amber didn’t move. "Why should I?"

Anthony swallowed hard.

"Because it’s about Shayla," he said. "And the lies she’s been feeding you."

Amber’s eyes flickered with something—hesitation, maybe even fear.

But she didn’t shut the door in his face.

And that was enough.

For now.

To Be Continued…?

Will Amber believe Anthony? Or has Shayla already turned her against him? Let me know!
